We consider protecting the privacy of our customers extremely important.  We do not exchange any identifiable information regarding our customers with any third party. Any information you give us is considered confidential, held with the utmost care and security, and will not be used in way that you have not specifically consented to.

Use of Information

We will not gather any personal information about individuals except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals. Our order form requires you to supply information specific to your particular order, including your billing, shipping, email address and in some cases credit card information. This data is used to rapidly process and ship your order.  We, on occasion may use the contact information to alert you with a problem shipping your order. Security

All orders placed through our website are done securely through the use of SiteSafe™ SSL Certificate from Network Solutions®, .  All credit card information is transmitted using encryption techniques.  Wine from the Heart does not see this credit card information nor do we maintain credit card information in our files.  If there is any problem with your order, we will notify you via email or telephone prior to processing.  As a responsible web merchant, if placing your order through other methods than the website and Verisign, we will ONLY solicite and process credit card information via the telephone.  This allows us to confirm and verify your method of payment without storing any of your private credit information on our system.  We realize that this policy requires a little more time, however, we feel it enhances the personal touch we can offer our customers while at the same time offering the typle of privacy you would expect with a quality wine shop.   If you have any questions reqarding our security and/or ordering policies please feel free to contact us via e-mail or the phone number listed above.  If you choose to phone, our normal hours are 10 to 6 (Pacific Time Zone) everyday.
